Micro Mower is a high speed, high skill, lawn mowing simulator.
Micro Mower is a minimalistic mowing simulator created in 3 days for the GameMaker's Tool Kit Jam 2017. Using intentionally difficult controls (qwop controls), players must navigate their mower across the grass tiles. Collect currency to upgrade your mower in an odd left / right based upgrade system.

The theme of this jam was "Dual Purpose Design" which I missed completely. I loosely integrated it by designing the upgrade menu to apply to either wheel but that was a terrible implementation of the theme. I did make a fun lawn mowing game which is what I cared about more than following the theme (as there was no prizes).
I think everyone at some point has wanted to rip their eyes out after touching physics constraints in any engine and this was no exception. There's not much to say, constraints in unity have very weird behavior for those inexperienced with them, and they're very difficult to get working how you want them to out of the box.
